Sterilization and Disinfection
Sterilization and disinfection are common requirements for cleaning 
most areas of a medical facility. Sterilization involves cleaning with powerful chemicals that destroy all known microbial life. Disinfection means only killing specific types of pathogens and microorganisms. If required with either procedure we will be using only hospital grade disinfectants.
Rules, Regulations and Laws
When CBM cleans your medical facility, we assume that every surface of the physician’s office, dentist office or medical office we clean poses a potential risk to themselves, the nurses, doctors, medical staff, patients, and visitors to the facility. That’s why we carefully follow the regulations established by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) for mitigating exposure to blood borne pathogens.
When cleaning surgery centers or other patient treatment areas, our staff wears proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including latex or rubber gloves and eye protection when needed. Wearing PPE assures that our cleaning staff does not touch contaminated surfaces, and protects them from splashes and spills of any contaminated items.
